Signing up for classes and events
Providers on Bornbir host classes, support groups, and events for parents — both online and in person. Sign-ups stay open until the event ends, so you can still register on the day.
Finding classes
Click Classes in the top bar on bornbir.com. When you're signed in on a phone, it's also a tab at the bottom of the screen. You'll find classes from the homepage (Browse classes) and the footer (Find a Class) too, and city pages show Upcoming classes near that city when there are any.
On the classes page, choose a category (All events by default), enter a City or ZIP code, or switch on Online events only. Results show online events plus in-person events near your location (we use your approximate location until you enter one), sorted by start date.
Class series and repeating classes
- A class series — one sign-up covers every session of a multi-week class. The class page says how many sessions and how often (for example, "6 sessions, weekly"), and lists each date under Sessions; your confirmation email lists them too. You can sign up until the last session ends.
- A repeating class — a class or support group offered on several dates, where each date takes its own sign-ups. The class page lists the other upcoming dates under More dates; sign up separately for each date you want to attend.
Signing up
- Free events: click Sign up and enter your first name, last name, and email — no Bornbir account needed.
- Paid events: you're taken to a secure Stripe checkout page to pay by card.
Confirmation and reminders
After signing up, you'll get a confirmation email ("You're signed up for [class name]") with the event details and a message from the provider. For online events, the confirmation includes the meeting link — providers share how to attend after you sign up, not on the public event page.
We'll also send you reminder emails 24 hours, 2 hours, and 5 minutes before the event starts. For a class series, the reminders come before the first session. If you have a Bornbir parent account with the same email, you can turn reminders off with the Class reminders switch under Account → Email notifications.
If you can't attend
- Free events: please message the provider to let them know you can't make it.
- Paid events: tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated on the event page. If you have questions or need help, email support@bornbir.com.
