Sharing a lead with a colleague

Not the right fit for a lead, or fully booked? You can pass it along to a colleague who might be able to help the family. Sharing works on every account, free or Premium.

How to share a lead

1. Open the lead and click Share.
2. In the Share this lead window, enter your colleague's email address. Click Add another to share with more than one person at once, then click Send.
3. Or, click Copy link under "Or share via link:" and send the link however you like — text, social media, or a group chat.

Each email recipient gets a message letting them know you shared a lead with them on Bornbir, with a link to view it.

What your colleague sees

The shared page shows the lead's details — the family's first name, location, due date, the providers they need, any preferences they shared, and their description — but never the family's contact information. To respond to the lead, your colleague needs a Bornbir provider account with a Premium subscription — messaging families is a Premium feature. The shared page includes a Sign up as a provider button if they don't have an account yet.

If the lead has closed

Share links only work while the lead is open. If someone opens the link after the lead closes, they'll see Lead no longer available with a Browse other leads button.
