Bornbir Business: extra locations and team logins
Bornbir Business is the plan for traveling providers, agencies, and multi-office practices. It includes everything in Premium — including Clients, contracts and e-signature, invoices, and superbills — plus:
- Up to 5 service locations, each with its own service range — get matched with families and appear in search results in every area you serve.
- Team logins — up to 5 associates with their own passwords on your account, whom you can put on each client's care team.
- 150 connection requests a day instead of 50.
- Ranked above Premium in search and city pages, with a Bornbir Business badge on your public profile.
Business is $24.99/month or $149.99/year. See "Bornbir Premium and Business plans and pricing" for how to subscribe or upgrade.
Adding locations
- Go to Profile and open the Locations tab. Your primary practice location (from the Business tab) is listed first.
- Click Add a location, enter a city, ZIP code, or neighborhood you also serve, choose its Service range, and save.
- Repeat for up to 4 more locations. Each has its own Edit and Remove controls.
Leads within any of your locations' ranges reach you, and your profile appears in searches around each one. Removing a location stops matching for families in that area right away.
Inviting team members
- Click Team in the sidebar.
- Enter your associate's email and click Send invitation. They receive a link to create their own login (name and password) on your account.
- The Team page shows who has joined, who hasn't yet, and how many of your 5 seats are used. Invitations that haven't been accepted yet also use a seat. Remove cancels a pending invitation or stops a login immediately, and frees the seat.
Each invitation has to go to an email address that isn't already used by a Bornbir provider account. If it is, you'll see "Email already has a Bornbir account" and no invitation is sent. Ask your associate for another email address, such as a work address, to use for their team login.
Team members can respond to families, manage leads, and edit the profile — everything a client-facing associate needs. They can also use Clients: open each family's profile, log visits, and write notes (a team member can edit or delete only the notes they wrote; you can edit any). They can't change account settings, billing, your login email, or the team itself, and they can't send contracts, manage document templates, send invoices or payment requests, make superbills, or manage payouts; those pages show "Only the account owner can access this page." Everyone on the team sees a banner reminding them whose account they're signed in to.
Team logins let associates work on your account. They don't merge other providers' profiles into yours: a provider with their own Bornbir profile keeps that profile, its reviews, and its subscription separate.
Care teams for your clients
Once at least one team member has joined, each client's profile has a Care team card where you choose who from your team works with that family, and the Clients list can be filtered by care team member. See "Managing your clients".
Joining a team
If a Business provider invited you, you'll get an email with the subject "[Name] invited you to join [business] on Bornbir." Click Accept invitation, enter your first name, last name, and a password, and you'll land in their account. After that, log in at bornbir.com with the email address the invitation was sent to.
A team login doesn't have a profile of its own. Everything you do while signed in with it, like replying to families, managing leads, or editing the profile, happens on the business owner's account.
If the invitation page says the invitation isn't active right now, the owner's Bornbir Business plan has lapsed. Ask them to reactivate it, then open the link again.
Already have your own Bornbir profile?
An invitation can't be linked to an existing provider account, and an existing account can't be turned into a team login. To work on a team and keep your own profile:
- Ask the business owner to invite a different email address of yours, one that isn't used by a Bornbir account yet.
- Accept that invitation to create your team login.
- Log in with the team email to work on their account, and with your usual email for your own profile. Log out to switch between the two.
Not on Business yet?
The Locations and Team pages preview what you'd get, with an Upgrade to Business button. You'll also see the offer under Account settings → Plan and when you hit the daily connection limit. If you're on the free plan, the Clients page offers Business next to Premium too.
